This month has to be my worst month for reading since I started this blog. I only managed to finish one book, mainly because I made the mistake of signing up for Netflix.
If you are familiar with this blog, then you know I got lost in the ocean of TV Series for almost 5 years before I came back to books. Hopefully, I’ll find my willpower somewhere between Dr Who and Shadowhunters and catch up on my reading in March.
I did manage to churn out a number of reviews this month, along with my active contributors. Shoutout to Aisha and Tuawa; If I only have to work with the pair of you I would be a very satisfied blogger. You rock!!
If you missed any reviews this month, catch up here:
No Love For Free Books
I never thought I’d see the day when book people refused to grab a chance to get free books. Frankly, it is shocking. Granted the book offered isn’t exactly popular… but FREE BOOKS!
I had to cancel my February giveaway due to a LACK OF ENTRIES. As in, not a single soul tried to get this book. So sad… but not for me, though. I went ahead and gave myself a couple of new books, for comfort. You know how it is.
Not a haul, not really. My Netflix preoccupation didn’t leave much room for me to worry about books. And there’s the economy. So, I took it easy and went for 2 books that have been getting rave reviews left, right and centre.

Another one bites the dust…
2017 is zipping past like play and I’m at that point in my life where I worry about finding purpose and not wasting my 20s. Especially when I come across ladies like Chibundu Onuzo, I start to feel the beginnings of a panic attack.
Is this a thing that happens when you’re about to hit 25 or is that just me?
Anyways, this is it. February in a nutshell. No Valentine’s feelings for me. I’m trying to be okay with that… Not really.
How was your month? Did you get to do everything you set out to do?
Quiet and obsessed with books.
